It enables a new task on the Drupal module and theme administration page. This task will let you enter a URL containing the project package tarball or enter a tarball file to upload.
After submission, the form will unpack the uploaded tarball and place it the directory you've specified on the Upload Package settings package. Uploading modules that already exist will overwrite the existing module files.
This module should be used with precaution since it allows uploading code to your website.
Installation
Unpack in your modules folder (usually /sites/all/modules/) and enable under Administer > Site Building > Modules.

· Drupal 5.x
· PEAR Archive_Tar package
