This modification will allow selling fractional quanitites of products. For instance, if you run a candy store, and want to sell a quarter lb of candy, you want your customer to enter .25, not 1. If you have a fabric store, and customers buy by the quarter yard, this mod will permit them to do so.
By default, oscommerce allows entering partial quantities, but does not permit checking out with them, or provide for proper inventory tracking. This is a very simple mod to install, and allows full use of partial quantities.
