flatCMS is a PHP Website Engine that is not using any database. It provides support for different languages. It uses the directory-structure for menu creation. Directory names are the menu topics(categories), filenames beneath are menu items. XHTML compliant. Supports Modules.
You can set up your flatCMS site by logging in to the admin page and adding directories and/or pages to your site.
Directories created within a language directory, will appear as organizational divisions or "categories" in the site's main menu to the left. Note that these division or category labels are not clickable.
Pages that you create or add inside one of these category folders will appear as clickable links under their category (directory) label.
Both page/file and directory names may start with a number followed by an underscore to affect their order in the menu. File and directory names like "10_pagename.php" will have the number and underscore removed from them when displayed in the main menu, resulting in "pagename" be shown in the menu.
Menu Limitations: Categories will only be displayed one level deep. Thus, you can't nest directories you want displayed. Pages/files will only appear in the menu if they are in a (single level deep) category directory. In other words, links will not appear for files in any directory above or below a category directory. This includes the surface level of a language directory.
